Debut Novel: FREE starting October 29th!

The Ghost and the Real Girl Launch Party!

Welcome to Caelum

“As they rounded the last bend and the city of Caelum came into view, Sera heard Clem let out a soft gasp. Pride washed over her as they took in the sight. The crystal Spire at the center of the city speared its way into the sky, refracting the soft dawn into a thousand glimmering flashes across the rooftops. It was the first place to find the sun as it rose, and the last place the dusk touched as it sank again. No one knew where it came from, exactly. Every bit of history Sera had learned said the same thing: the Spire was there when the city was built, and it would be there long after it crumbled away.”

Four unique districts centered around a mysterious crystal Spire in the middle, Caelum is a city relatively untouched by time. The merchant quarters and hospitals in Vers create a thriving economy, while the industry of Aurums creates unique goods from the copper mines in the south. What’s a flyken?

“It’s a flyken,” Clem replied absently, reading another part of the script. “It says here they’re guardian spirits. They watch over the stones, but they don’t like people very much.”

Meet the flyken– a small, moss-like creature living in the forest groves around Caelum. They’re shy creatures, preferring to hide out of the sight of humans. Think of them like living, walking moss with three legs.

NEW BOOK ALERT

Hello Everyone!

It feels like only yesterday that I released a book (it was less than a year ago, Avery. That’s basically yesterday in book publishing times) and now I’m releasing another! You may have seen it on my Book Series page already, but here’s the full run-down of everything to expect from my new release: THE GHOST AND THE REAL GIRL.

When Sera is hired to rob a 200 year old grave, the last thing she expects is the ghost of Lady Clementine de Quill rising up to scold her for it. Though her world is full of magical echoes from a not-so-distant past, a ghost is unheard of, and what’s more, no one else can see or hear Clem. Sera tries everything to get rid of her– selling the items she took from her grave, bathing in saltwater, even putting herself through a religious smoke cleansing from the Church of the Wheel. Nothing works, and Sera finally resigns herself to having a ghost follow her around for the rest of her life.

Despite their differences, a partnership begins to bloom between them, but just as they settle into their new routine, Clem begins to fade, flickering in and out for longer and longer periods of time. It becomes clear with each time Clem vanishes, there’s a chance she won’t come back. There’s only one problem: Sera can’t imagine life without her anymore.
